South Georgia Medical Center Welcomes 2012 Youth Volunteers

South Georgia Medical Center welcomes its 2012 Youth Volunteers. During an 8-week program directed by the Patient Relations and Guest Services department, a record number of 43 students will volunteer for 4 and 6 hour shifts twice a week. These young volunteers will work to support clinical staff, assist with clerical duties, and beginning this year, help to enhance SGMC guest services by greeting patients and visitors at entrances and assisting with doors and directions.
