Neil Ginty, Administrator of Lanier Health Services, recently became one of only 28 Certified Executive Directors for Assisted Living Communities in Georgia. Ginty also serves as the Administrator for South Georgia Medical Center’s Berrien campus and completed the course at the Georgia Healthcare Association’s Winter Convention. The certification provided in-depth instruction for optimally learning the latest information regarding Assisted Living, team management, certification and credentialing.The certification is not required, but serves to distinguish and recognize the top executive leadership in assisted living care, resulting in improved facilities. The course was developed to aid in the effort of keeping Georgia healthcare professionals proactive and progressive. Instructor Joy Robertson commented on Ginty’s accomplishment stating, “Ginty was among the top of his class in performance, and his willingness to take on this tedious process shows his superior leadership.” “Health care is in a constant state of change,” stated Ginty. “I am proud to be among the first in Georgia to receive this recognition as it helps broaden my knowledge of the assisted living arena.”
