South Georgia Medical Center’s pediatric urgent care center, known as SGMC Youth Care, will begin seeing patients at its new location, the SGMC Smith Northview Campus, on Monday, Sept. 14, 2020.
Youth Care provides pediatric care for children after-hours when their pediatrician’s office may be closed. Youth Care is for non-emergent, minor illnesses and injuries, such as earaches or the flu. Appointments are not required as patients are seen by a pediatric specialist on a first-come, first served basis.
Youth Care is located at 4280 North Valdosta Road in Valdosta and is open Monday-Friday, 5:30pm-8pm and Saturday-Sunday, 9:30am-4:30pm.
Parents/guardians are advised to use the services of SGMC’s Emergency Department or call 911 if you believe a child has a severe or life-threatening emergency.
