SGMC Health honored Clementeen Baldwin, Patient Care Technician, with the May Being Extraordinary Every day (BEE) Award. Baldwin was honored for her display of skill and collaboration as a new team member.
Baldwin was nominated by a nurse on another floor where she was assisting for the night. The nomination shared that it was Baldwin’s first night off of orientation, and she demonstrated her commitment and expertise by providing extraordinary care to the patients as well as accurate charting for the other members of the care team.
“She made sure everyone was taken care of,” shared the nurse. “She definitely helped the night run smoothly.”
The BEE Award is presented monthly and recognizes staff members who support the role of a nurse, which includes patient care technicians, nursing assistants, and medical assistants. Nomination criteria include compassion, teamwork, leadership, attitude, skills, and knowledge.
