Chuck Roberts, Director of Physician Recruitment and Relations Valdosta, GA – South Georgia Medical Center announces that Chuck Roberts has been named Director of Physician Recruitment and Relations. In his new role, Roberts will oversee all physician recruitment activities, maintain regional physician relationships, and plan special/educational events for physicians within the SGMC region. Roberts’s goal is to identify, recruit and retain the best physicians in their respective fields to meet the needs of our community.Roberts has been employed with SGMC for three years and previously worked in Administration at Smith Northview Hospital for eight years. Roberts graduated from West Georgia College and Valdosta State University with degrees in music and drama and education. He received his Master’s in Administration in Education from Valdosta State University. Roberts is involved in numerous organizations, including the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters.
