Dr. Charles W. Sanderlin, born and raised in Americus, Georgia, graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1993. He then went on to receive his Medical Degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in 1997. Dr. Sanderlin completed his orthopedic residency in 2002 at the renowned Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. Here he earned the distinction with the finest performance in surgery and was awarded the Joe Sam Robinson Prize in Surgery. He was certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery in 2004. He is also Board certified in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
Dr. Sanderlin’s specialties include Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine. He maintains his stature as the team physician for many of the local high school athletic programs. Dr. Sanderlin’s minimally invasive procedures have earned him high acclaim among the finest surgeons in the country. Among his capabilities are minimally invasive procedures, ligamentous repairs all performed arthroscopically, Rotator Cuff Repairs, and ACL reconstruction.
Dr. Sanderlin is a Fellow of the Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, a member of the Georgia Orthopaedic Society, Inc.
He has three children Taylor, Gracyn, and Charlie.
Dr. Sanderlin is an avid outdoorsman, spending his free time fishing, hunting, and traveling to various parts of the world.
