Community supporters and members of the hospital family came together to break ground for a new parking lot at SMITH Northview Hospital, a campus of SGMC, on Wednesday, May 9. Dignitaries participating in the groundbreaking included (L-R) Shamb Purohit, SMITH Northview CFO; Randy Sauls, SGMC CEO; Dr. Sammie Dixon, SMITH Northview Interim CEO; and Bill Forbes, SGMC Chief Planning Officer.
The two-hundred space parking lot will occupy the west side of the property. It is expected to open to patients, visitors and staff this summer.
