Pam Jones was recently promoted to Director of Educational Services at South Georgia Medical Center.Jones holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education with a major in Technical, Trade and Industrial Education from Valdosta State University. She has been employed at SGMC for over 24 years, the first 22 of those years working as the education coordinator in Educational Services.
Over the past two years, Jones was Emergency Preparedness Manager for SGMC, its campuses and affiliates. As Director of Educational Services, Jones will be responsible for new employee orientation, annual review workshop for all employees, staff education including CPR, department planning, budgeting and maintaining regulatory compliance.
