Folding Named Clinical Laboratory Employee of the Year

SGMC’s Clinical Laboratory staff voted and named Susan Folding the 2017 Employee of the Year. Folding was presented with an award thanking her for her commitment to SGMC’s mission and values. Folding is the lab support tech in Microbiology but she is always seen around the entire laboratory helping anyone who needs help. According to her peers, she is consistently friendly from the time she arrives at work until she leaves for the day. She always has a smile on her face. Susan reaches out every day to someone who needs help and pitches in to get the job done! She is one of the most pleasant customer service oriented employee in the laboratory. Susan cares about her coworkers and the patients being served. She is not afraid to work hard and has been an asset not only to her specific department but to the laboratory as a whole.
