SGMC Volunteer Auxiliary Awards Pins and Installs Officers

The South Georgia Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary recently awarded patches and pins for hours of service and installed officers for 2012-2013 at an annual luncheon themed Sowing Seeds of Service.Auxiliary members receiving patches for 50 hours of service were:  Patricia Bausch, James Biles, Jim Bowen, Marilyn Bridges, Marayah Fields, Dayron Maxwell, Erika McCoy, Kay Riggle and Janisha Ross.Those receiving pins for hours of service were: (100 hours) Lynsey Carroll, Travis Johnson, Don Nolan, Stevie Norris, Braxton Pound, Mildred Turner, Pearlie Wright; (200 hours) Dianne Belcher, Neil Decima, Henry Hicks, Grace Mack, John Manion, Jan Newton, Ethel Patilla, Fred Stikkel, Frank Sylvester, Ralph Trevisone; (300 hours) Maerita Adams, Bertha Graham, Jean Oliver, Donna Smith, W.G. Walker; (400 hours) Inday Bauer, Faye Baxter, Howard Brock; (500 hours) Woneska Cribb, Nancy Cunningham, Melba Powell, Charles Roberts, Darl Stanfield; (600 hours) Lee Cornelius, Cathy Quarterman; (700 hours) Gerlinde Jernigan;  (800 hours) Carroll Griffin, Bonnie Peterson; (900 hours) Bill Higgins, Jeanette Roberson, Beverly Sykes; (1000 hours) Mary Cole, Ryan Fountain, Alice Lawrence, Jane Moore; (1500 hours) Bill Cole, Hazel Stafford; (2000 hours) Joann Russell, Richard Uhlir; (2500 hours) Robert Tlusty, Doris Welch; (3000 hours) Ellie Bridges; (4000 hours) Janice Langjan; (4500 hours) Delores Addison; (5000 hours) Phyllis Garnett, Ann Harris; (6000 hours) Cora Crosby; (9000 hours) Stella Taw and (15,500 hours) Helen Miller.For 2012-2013, officers were installed as follows:  Jeanette Roberson, President; Donna Smith, President Elect; John Tinsley, Vice President of Programs; Evelyn Harrell, Treasurer; Carroll Griffin, Recording Secretary; Janice Langjan, Corresponding Secretary and Georgia Emerson, Parliamentarian.The Volunteer Auxilians, or Pink Ladies and Red Coats as they are called, are dedicated individuals who give their time to provide invaluable care and attention to patients and staff.
