The result of this team’s effort is demonstrated by the high scores patients give the SGMC Lanier Campus on its Press Ganey™ patient satisfaction surveys. Most recently, the hospital received a 91 percent global rating from patients saying they would recommend the hospital. The PET team serves as the conduit for patients and/or their family members to provide direct input on policies, programs and practices affecting patient care and services at the SGMC Lanier Campus. Recently, families expressed concern over the lack of wheel chairs.  The PET team acted quickly to designate part of its recent winnings from a Georgia Hospital Association Hospital Engagement Network project to purchase new wheelchairs.
