Dwozan named New Campus Administrator

C. Richard “Dick” Dwozan Valdosta, Ga. – South Georgia Medical Center announces the selection of C. Richard “Dick” Dwozan as the new campus administrator for the SGMC Berrien Campus and the SGMC Lanier Campus. Dwozan will oversee the day-to-day healthcare operations of these facilities including strategic direction, physician relations, quality performance and financial management. He comes to south Georgia from Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, Ga. where he served as vice president. For more than 20 years, Dwozan was president and chief executive officer of Habersham Medical Center in Demorest, Ga. where he managed a 53-bed acute care hospital, 84-bed skilled nursing facility and home health agency. “I am confident our organization will benefit from the vast experience and leadership skills that Dick possesses,” says SGMC CEO Randy Sauls. “Dick is familiar with the challenges of rural healthcare and has successfully driven changes in business strategies and financial performance.”Dwozan graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and subsequently achieved two Master’s degrees.  He received both a Master of Business Administration degree and Master of Health Administration degree from Georgia State University.
